Ocean Care Foundation

In 2008, the Ocean Care Foundation will launch a campaign reaching out to children aged 7 to 12 in primary school in the Netherlands. Under the slogan ‘Help the lungs of the earth breathe again’ the aim is to make children aware of the role of the ocean in our daily lives.

Between June and September 2008 every primary school in the Netherlands will be sent information about the Ocean Care Foundation and the School Campaign 2008.

Interested schools:

• receive a free information pack about the ocean. This pack will also include the Morganonline film ‘Ocean invasion’;

• are offered the chance to actively work on the ‘Help the lungs of the earth breathe again’ campaign and, by doing so, support the work of the Ocean Care Foundation; and,

• are offered the chance to let their pupils follow, from a distance, research about whales and dolphins.
